DirectX 9.0C Download

The lastest version of DirectX 9.0c has been ripped out of a recent build of SP2 and has been made available for download. Check it out all you Pixel Shader love nuts.

Installation Instructions:
(1) boot into safemode.
(2) Install Direct X 9.0c executable.
(3) Install Hotfix.
(4) Install the Registry Patch.
(5) Reboot.
(6) Click Start. Click Run. Type dxdiag.
(7) Verify it has been installed under the system tab.
(8) You’re finished.

    I installed the directx 9.0c and was fully able to do what I did before with no problems. Windows XP ran perfect and so did FarCry. You need to install all 3 installations which is listed above in the instructions in safe mode. It took me a while to get to the option menu for safe mode but then found out you need to press F8 while you computer is loading up (before the windows XP load up screen.)

    It installs perfectly except for 1 error I caught going by....
    dsound.dll could not copy cuz the file was in use, yes this was even in safe mode. dxdiag also shows its a older file. dunno if this will be a issue but I havent a clue who actually came out with this hackout of DX from the SP2. Works fine so far as I said but still a few bugs need to be worked on.
