Looks like the Release Candidate was more ready than they thought. Mere days later comes Thunderbird 1.0, which they are aiming squarely at Outlook Express users. While not a replacement for a full-featured organizer such as Outlook 2003, it does offer many features that other free email programs don’t offer – such as a decent junkmail filter.
