mmonnin (mmonnin) Several highend AMD processors are available for purchase from Dell.com

It looks like Dell is selling just CPUs and not any AMD systems.

A screenshot is being hosted here in case they decide to take them down anytime soon.

Heh, I submitted that to the news yesterday, with a little different title. I think it's ironic as hell that Dell won't sell AMD systems but is not above making some money off of selling their processors.

Ahh yeah, edited to reflect your submission.

Intel is the reason. Enough said.

I think Dell is trying to skin a few $ and encroach on Newegg's turf. Fortunately their pricing isn't competitive ... yet.

Me. Overclocked San Diego 3000+ for the win.

Too bad most people who buy a dell don't know the difference between the a Pentium 4 and a Celeron

Perhaps Dell has added AMD to its online store in preparation for the court room. See, Your Honor, we aren't really an Intel-only operation! The Register opines.
