Keysonic ACK-720E Illuminated Aluminium Keyboard

Daniel Pass (Shorty) When is a keyboard not a keyboard? When it\'s a keyboard that is made of metal, lights up at the touch of a button and is fantastic to type on. Keysonic have produced a keyboard with a laptop touch style & looks to match but is it any good to actually type on? Lets find out.

  1. I like the sound of metal and lights, but I don't like the sound of "laptop style keys"

  2. I'm not sure I do, either. I, for one, am a big fan of the stepped key design, and I'm having a hard time getting around my new keyboard (as it's quite a bit flatter than usual).

Also, I always feel like I have to be too gentle with laptop keys, because I accidentally press them all the time.

  3. As it clearly says, it's down to personal taste

I work on a laptop all day and have been very acustomed to using it. Thus this keyboard suits me

  4. Laptop-style keyboard?

    /me doesn't even bother reading.

  5. Not for everyone dude

  6. Very nice looking . I love my laptop keyboard compared to normal keyboards. I might end up looking into one of those.

  7. You know, a few years back we finally went through a "case revolution" where people actually started considering what the case looked like and how well it fit into the overall design of the system. Now, I think people are starting to pay attention to their peripherals as well - first mice, and now keyboards.

This keyboard looks slick. One big question I have (my son wants one already), is it available in the US?

  8. I can find out for you

  9. Nice keyboard but i would prefer one like Saitek Eclipse Keyboard personnaly... Mainly because of the laptop style keys that s*cks. I have the eclipse and it's the best keyboard i've ever had. I post that just in case someone reading this is looking for a great keyboard without Laptop style keys

  10. After getting my laptop I find it easier to type on it compared to my desktop keyboard any when I go to school and use their computers.

Do they make a full sized version or is it that all UK keyboards have keys in those positions? I wouldnt get that version because of the odd placement of the delete/insert/arrow keys/etc. At least is odd for us Americans.

  11. I can type much faster and easier on my virtually flat laptop keyboard than I can on a standard keyboard, probably because your fingers don't have to move as much...
