After several delays, Microsoft is set to deliver in June the Microsoft Update software patching service, a company executive has said. At the same time the company’s new Windows Server Update service will also become available.

“Windows Update in a short two months will become Microsoft Update,” Kirill Tatarinov, corporate vice president at Microsoft’s Enterprise Management Division said in a presentation at the Microsoft Management Summit here this week. “The product is rock solid.”

I’m so glad this is almost here, Windows Update 5 is so unreliable. I find myself patching manually half the time. Bring it on Bill.
