Gainward has created the fastest AGP card in the world titled “Bliss 7800GS 512MB GS+” but don’t let this title fool you as this card has a 7900GT core which makes it king of the hill for all the AGP gamers.

24 pixel pipelines, 8 Vertex Shaders, 450 MHz core clock speed, 512MB of GDDR-3 memory using Infineon 1.4ns chips, Artic Cooling silent fan solution makes this, all in all, the fastest AGP unit on the block. The half of gig of video memory is clocked to 1250MHz, ending up with 40GB/s of memory bandwidth.

Good luck getting one of these bad boys…

    Sweet.. about time we see some 'full power' AGP parts. Time for ATI to follow suit.

    Yeah, that sure would be sweet in my main rig.

    I don't think Gainward has a US presence any more though, unfortunately.

    Maybe one of the other vid card manufacturers will get motivated to do something like this with either the 7900 core or an ATI X1900 core then. It seems like ATI isn't having any problems supplying the X1900 GPU's, looking at how many different X1900XTX cards are being sold and in stock at Newegg.

    Just got mine a few days ago, and it really does Move along.
    before this i had an x800pro hitman backpack edition.
    3dmark05 score of 5667 in 1280x1024 4xAA 16xAnisotropic Shader 3.0
    In an ABIT ic7-Max3 intel 3.4Ghz Overclocked to FSB of 215Mhz.
