A team of hackers have found a way to get burned Xbox 360 games to work. They say they will not release how they did it to the public.

It was bound to happen sooner or later, a team of hackers lead by “TheSpecialist” have cracked the 360’s DVD drive firmware which allowed them to run a backup of Project Gotham Racing 3. Unfortunately, the modified firmware will not be publicly released for download. Video clip after the jump.

    Not going to release how they did it? Some hackers they are.

    they cant yet because its just a dvd firmware hack. They have to figure out other ways to do it. Otherwise it would require desoldering some chips off of the dvd drive. i read about it on xbox-scene
