In the last few months we have been able to see a huge swing in the war for HD content. With the newest strike being Warner Bro’s jumping ship from HD DVD and solely supporting Blu Ray one has to wonder if the $50 price cuts from Microsoft are last etched efforts to keep HD DVD in the race.
Microsoft claims this price cut is the get HD DVD players a shot in the arm they so badly need. But some analysts are claiming Microsoft is dumping its stock of external players before Universal and Paramount’s HD DVD deals expire.
