- 2:06 PM EDT: The Apple store is back!
- 2:05 PM EDT: That’s all, folks! Stay tuned for a wrapup of the salient points of the new products today.

- 1:56 PM EDT: Apple is first to market with the 9400M. They’ll be the only ones for a while. No Blu-ray because the licensing is expensive as hell. They’re waiting until the dust settles on that one before they levy the cost of the license on users. HDMI was dropped because of the need to drive 30″ Cinema displays.
- 1:54 PM EDT: Steve Jobs’ blood pressure is 110/70.
- 1:53 PM EDT: Phil Schiller and Steve Jobs are on stage for Q&A now…
- 1:52 PM EDT: They’re playing up their environmental consciousness with the production of their new Macbooks. It’s good to see them going greener after spending so long at the bottom of that totem pole.
- 1:50 PM EDT: They’re showing gaming on a Macbook! Playing Need For Speed. Never thought I’d see that.
- 1:48 PM EDT: Now Jony Ive SVP of Design is back on stage to narrate a video of the new MacBook’s production.

- 1:39 PM EDT: The MacBook (not Pro) is the best-selling Macbook ever. It’s dropping in price to $999, a very psychological price that does not frighten with four digits.

- 1:36 PM EDT: New MacBook Air refresh. 9400M, 120GB HDD or 128GB SSD, new displayport connector.

- 1:33 PM EDT: There’s a panel on the back that will provide access to both the HDD and the battery. Is this a sign that Apple is moving towards users upgradeability? Just a little one?
- 1:32 PM EDT: Displayport connector can run a 30″ Cinema display. The unit only has Firewire 800 though, boo.
- 1:29 PM EDT: WOW! This MacBook also has a 9600M GT, a state-of-the-art mobile GPU. You can enable turbo mode for real gaming performance. 512MB of discrete VRAM.

- 1:23 PM EDT: New trackpad is glass for “silky smooth” tracking, is its own button, and has four new gestures.
- 1:21 PM EDT: GeForce 9400M is a chipset and GPU on one die. 70% GPU, 30% chipset. 16 parallel cores @ 54Gflops.
