- Asus implied that they’re working with fuel cells for laptops.
- Shuttle is working with NVIDIA to make products based on the ION platform
- Splashtop and Real Networks were meeting in Real Networks’ secret meeting booth. Just sayin’.
- Asus is working on notebooks that are practically popup books. The technology is almost there. The chassis on such units have collapsible elements that make the notebook just a quarter inch tall when closed. The big holdup is OLEDs.
- Shuttle is working on a water cooling unit for their SFF PCs that will work with CrossFire, SLI and a quad core. This also implies that we’ll see CF/SLI and Yorkfield-containing SFF PCs.
- RAZER’s 7.1 headphones use Israeli Military technology to do audio positioning. This same tech is used by Israeli fighter pilots to assist in tracking inbound missiles. Seriously, people live and die by the accuracy of this audio positioning, so they sound fantastic.
- RIM gently implied that they’ve been talking to Adobe about Flash Lite. Shhh.
