The Barnes and Noble e-reader has long been anticipated and will finally be revealed tomorrow. The information about the e-reader was supposed to come out in Barnes and Noble’s big press conference today, but the Wall Street Journal pulled the trigger early.
The e-reader, which has been dubbed the “Nook,” is wireless and has dual screens. The top screen uses E-Ink, while the bottom is presumably a color LCD.
The Nook will retail for $259, which is the same price the Kindle is currently selling at. The Nook will also apparently have some sort of sharing feature, allowing users to “loan e-books to their friends.”
Check back later today for more information on the “Nook,” when the big press conference reveals the details.
