Microsoft has delayed the launch of Xbox Live Primetime till the spring of 2009.  Citing undisclosed technical issues, the new system is delayed until the spring of 2009. Once slated for a November 19th release, Live Primetime will feature a new avatar system, party channels, and other updates.

  1. bowlux... The news of this update is what prompted me to finally buy the 360. I've been looking forward to it for months.

  2. "More delays" is kind of unnecessary... it's only been delayed the once, as I understand it.

That said, it's sad, but glad they're taking the time to make it right. I'd say the same about Home, but when you get 6 different release dates, well...

  3. To clarify: The Fall update is still going down - with the new dashboard, etc. However, it's the PRIMETIME element that is being delayed.

  4. It's the Netflix connectivity that I'm really looking forward to.

  5. I'm with CB I can not wait for Netfilx to hit the 360.
