Kudos to OCZ on its latest product announcement. Their ever-expanding product range now will include a 15″ build-it-yourself notebook that support Intel’s various Centrino 2 processors and come with an ATI Radeon HD 3650 with 512MB of GDDR3. The full spec sheet is here (.pdf). Add your choice of processor, storage, and RAM and you’re good to go.

  1. We need to review this I think

    *cough* ryder *cough*

  2. Any idea on price?

  3. They tell you everything but the price.

    I hate that.

  4. Hrmmm.. Hopefully this is a start in the right direction but I wouldn't call this a DIY notebook. It's more like a bare bones pc with a keyboard, mouse and an lcd already attached. I was hoping you could choose between different cases, key boards, vid cards etc. I can already upgrade cpu, memory, network card and the likes on most laptops.

Hopefully they will expand in the coming years.

Good job OCZ but still a ways to go for us real Do it yourselfers...
