TheInq is reporting that Phenom IIs will be available Dec. 18 in Europe and Dec. 20 in North America, just in time for Christmas. No word from AMD to confirm or deny it, so take the rumor with a grain of salt.
The Phenom II X4 920 should hit the streets for $235, with it’s more expensive and overclockable brother, the Phenom II X4 940, is expected to set buyers back $275. That’s Core 2 Quad territory, so The Inquirer suggests we can expect Intel price cuts to hit along the same time.
