The Pocketnow blog has picked up an exclusive first look at the HTC Incredible, a model obviously intended to compete with the Nexus One, and Verizon’s fourth Android device.

Not much is known about the handset aside from some of its basic details: a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon platform, a 3.5-3.7″ AMOLED display, 256MB RAM, Android 2.1 and HTC’s lauded Sense UI.

There is also additional speculation that the Incredible is, in fact, the HTC Bravo/Passion, but a comparison of the Incredible (seen here) with early shots of the Bravo reveals several cosmetic differences that cast some doubt on that speculation.

I'm now crying every time you post a VZW/Android story.

Do want the Snapdragon. Can't wait until my ATT contract is up in July

I never thought I'd see the day when Verizon was more progressive than AT&T. For the longest time, VZW was full of shitty "smartphones" with no WiFi and no ingenuity, while AT&T experimented with all sorts of BlackBerry devices, early-model HTC devices, etc.

Now the tables have turned, because AT&T is anchored to the iPhone. It's amazing.

UNF. The Incredible looks like it lives up to it's name. Pity it's on VZW though, the one carrier I'll never consider getting service from again.
